Furry Friends Gentle Pet Grooming is a family owned and operated open play dog daycare, boarding facility and spa. While we have offered grooming for over 12 years in the same location we are excited to now provide dog parents with a safe and fun place to leave their four legged family members. Basically, we’re your one-stop shop to spoil your dog! Our friendly and knowledgeable team is highly trained in providing your dog with a safe, healthy and fun environment.
Furry Friends Gentle Pet Grooming takes pride in its personal care and attention to cat and dog grooming. Unlike the chain pet stores, Furry Friends caters not only to the clients needs, but to the needs of each individual pet as well. We treat every cat and dog as if it were our own, taking time to make them feel comfortable. Our goal is for each pet to look forward to their grooming visits, and we get to know every one of them by name.
Pet parents are welcome to stay with their dog while the grooming is in progress, because we are sure they will be pleased with what they see. With the use of our all natural bathing products, we customize every experience for our client. In between bathing, drying, and waiting to be picked up, dogs are not crated but allowed to socialize with other dogs of similar temperaments. If a dog is aggressive or nervous, we can make other arrangements.
Our experienced groomers are qualified to work on all breeds, in any condition, and of any disposition. We understand grooming can be an intimidating experience for any animal, so through care and understanding Furry Friends Gentle Pet Grooming makes grooming a safe place for your loved one.
In order to better serve you, appointments for hair cuts are required. Appointments are available 9:00am-2:00pm during our normal work week but we are happy to keep your pet during the day so you may drop them off and pick them up before and after work. Walk-ins for nails services and self wash tubs are always welcome.
About Cindy
As the owner of Furry Friends Gentle Pet Grooming, Cindy is fortunate enough to be able to do what she loves every day. While working in the corporate world for over 20 years, Cindy volunteered at local animal shelters and fostered dogs. She became frustrated with the assembly line style of grooming her foster dogs were forced to endure at the major pet store chains. Using her passion for helping animals in need, Cindy quit the life of the corporate world and created Furry Friends Gentle Pet Grooming. She patiently spends time with each animal, and enjoys the reward of earning their trust. Cindy specializes in serving animals with special needs, and making grooming a positive experience.

About The Team
Niqi DeCarvalho is one of our night time caretakers at Furry Friends Gentle Pet Grooming. She feeds and plays with the dogs at the end of the day and makes sure they get the attention they need. Niqi is currently a college student at Kennesaw State University majoring in Asian Studies and she is also an aspiring artist.
